Jane Lewis Sandelman is a veteran corporate marketer and entrepreneur who leads Cannatrol’s sales, communications and B2B marketing initiatives. Rooted in science and technology, the company seeks to improve post-harvest processing while boosting efficiency and product quality for operators worldwide. Under Jane’s leadership, Cannatrol saw triple-digit growth in 2023. Her background in CPG product development and marketing includes senior management roles with multinational firms Reckitt Benckiser, Block Drug and The Mennen Company. She was also the Director of Consumer Insights for market research company IRI Worldwide, and led the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare product team. Prior to co-founding Cannatrol, Jane stepped away from the corporate sphere and revitalized an abandoned Vermont inn. She and her husband renovated and ran the 12-room inn and restaurant, and in their decade of ownership the inn won accolades from Saveur and Food & Wine magazines, a chef spotlight event at The James Beard House, and was named one of the “Top 10 Culinary Inns in America” by Fodors.A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, she still calls New England home, where her passion for community includes volunteering with her local food co-op, where she helped plan and secure funding for its multimillion-dollar expansion. In addition to her community involvement, Jane is a passionate traveler and a skilled photographer.

David Sandelman is a serial inventor, problem solver, entrepreneur and the creator of Cannatrol Systems for cannabis post harvest processing. A veteran of new product development in the HVAC industry, he leads the production and engineering initiatives at Cannatrol’s parent company, VT Dry & Cure Technologies. David holds 19 patents—including two relating to the drying, curing and storage of cannabis—and among his early inventions is the two-wire digital clock thermostat that helped consumers address the energy crisis of the late 1970s. A firm believer that every problem has a solution, David has decades of experience building and designing industrial controls, and worked on new cooling technologies at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Electric Power Research Institute. He is also accomplished in production design, wireless and cellular communication, and electrical engineering.David’s experience as a construction and industrial consultant includes oversight of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for a 20-story luxury highrise condominium project, and designservices for food processing plants’ heating and cooling systems used for production equipment. As VP and CTO at Notifact Corporation, he conceptualized a low-cost wireless monitoring system—spun off from his time as VP of New Business Development at Heat-Timer Corporation—that created a new service category in the $80 billion HVAC industry.In addition to his mechanical engineering career, as a side project David and his wife renovated and ran an inn and restaurant that won awards from Saveurand Food & Winemagazines and was named one of the “Top 10 Culinary Inns in America” by Fodors. David lives in Vermont and is schooled in whitewater guiding and rescue, as well as rock climbing instruction. When time permits, he also enjoys mountain biking, hiking and skiing.

Michael Lucchino is a strategic business leader who leverages his extensive industry network and horticultural expertise to drive Cannatrol’s sales team while developing long-term growth strategies and opening doors to key industry players. His understanding of Cannatrol’s post harvest processing and storage technologies, coupled with his cultivation knowledge, are key components of the company’s advancing market presence.Prior to joining Cannatrol, Michael spent over a decade with LED lighting leader Fluence, where he established the company's successful reseller program market strategy while serving as the crucial connection between the company’s lighting technology engineers and cultivators. After starting his career in banking and consumer retail as a garden center manager, he transitioned to entrepreneurship in 1997, when he acquired a 7.5-acre nursery/garden center business in Colorado, later expanding to build greenhouse facilities in two other locations. His entry into the cannabis industry began when his horticultural business became a trusted resource for early commercial cannabis cultivators seeking growing expertise.A Pittsburgh native, Michael currently resides in Denver. When time permits, he can be found fly-fishing, camping, skiing, tending to his extensive garden or cooking treasured family recipes. Michael earned his mathematics degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Chris Mapson is an accomplished marketing leader with over 25 years of experience. He has a distinguished career, with his most recent roles as Vice President of Marketing at LivWell Enlightened Health/Pharmacann and Marketing & Creative Director at The Green Solution. His expertise in strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives has consistently driven brand success and sales growth.At LivWell Enlightened Health, Chris led marketing strategies that significantly increased sales, managed e-commerce development, and expanded retail locations nationwide. His SEO and SEM initiatives and data-driven campaigns improved online engagement and retail performance. At The Green Solution, Chris's leadership grew the retail business and online presence, creating strong brand identities and maximizing ROI through effective budget management and solid press and vendor relationships. He has held roles at CenturyLink, Sony, and Aramark and partnered with major brands like Hitachi, Sun Microsystems, and IBM.
