Chubbs’ Journey Into Bubble Hash Perfection

My name is Chubbs and I’m a home grower who is relatively new to the bubble hash world. For the past 3 years I have been refining my technique and most recently won 1st place in the hash category at the 2026 American Auto Flower Cup, as well as 1st and 2nd place in the rosin category at the 2025 Calyx Cup.

Particularly here in Southern California, where I’m at an elevation of over 4,000ft, my local climate challenges can be quite drastic, especially the humidity. Optimal Curing Parameters for Bubble Hash

I’ve found, through my experience, that when curing my bubble hash with the Cannatrol Cool Cure unit, the starting bubble hash material should be around a 3%-9% moisture content for optimal results. I use the Cure Mode feature for stable curing cycle times and time again. 

I’d recommend adjusting the parameters to the 62°/45° mentioned before, regardless of strain or consistency differences. I’d also recommend keeping a curing journal for every batch to refine the process.
